Nasa Solar Flare Warning 2025. Nasa’s solar dynamics observatory captured this image of an x1.5 solar flare peaking at 7:44 am edt on may 11, 2025. The sun emitted two strong solar flares, the first one peaking at 6:07 p.m.

A g1 (minor) geomagnetic storm watch has been issued for dec 25th, 2025 due to the anticipated arrival of a cme associated with the m8.9 flare obse r2 event on 23 december. The image shows a subset of extreme ultraviolet light that highlights the extremely hot material in flares created from a mixture of sdo’s aia 193,.
